So, as some of you know, my father was recently diagnosed with leukemia. Things are fine, and chemo is going well, and we seem to have rounded a corner in how we deal with it. This is the conversation my dad and I had a few nights ago:
Me: Just think of all the attention we're going to get when I come home! Everyone will want to take care of us and be nice to us because I'm getting my wisdom teeth out and you have cancer!
Dad: Please... Cancer trumps wisdom teeth extraction, and don't think that I won't be playing the 'L-Card' every chance I get.
