The Hottest State

Earlier today I was talking with Sarah about a friend from high school just having a baby. We started talking about how different things were now then we expected them to be.

If I had looked into the future back when I was in grade 10, I don't know what I would expect to see, but it certainly wouldn't be this -- not that this is bad, just different from what was expected. I didn't have concrete plans then, and I still don't have them.

Now I can't help but wonder how different my life will be in in the future from what I expect it to be right now...
