Last night before I fell asleep, I was flipping through the channels and I saw a preview for Jason vs. Freddy. I was terrified. As a child, my brother had a Freddy poster in his room and I was afraid to look at it. It just scared the b'jesus out of me. As I continued to channel surf, I found the tv show 'Unsolved Mysteries' and it terrified me almost as much as the movie preview. When I was little, I always watched that show with my parents, and was always frightened to death.
So it turns out that my childhood fears didn't quite fade away with age. I ended up staying awake until about 3, until I could fall asleep without thinking of Freddy or hearing the theme music from Unsolved Mysteries.
I know, I'm a geek.
